Welcome
Pressley Temple Ministries, Inc.
We are one of four local incorporated (COGIC) Church of God in Christ churches in Yonkers. The building is located on a vibrant main avenue, directly across from Philipse Manor Hall State Historic Museum which is near Metro North Yonkers’ station and all B-line buses is just a stop either a couple of blocks away or in front of the church. The air conditioned dining room has an aesthetic view of the Waterfront where we have dinners. Our Sanctuary is on the main floor with access to a handicapped bathroom.
We are loving Christians who operate in the “five-fold” ministry as written in Ephesians 4:11 as the Church Of God In Christ, Pentecostal experience founded by Bishop H. Mason 103+ years ago. In March 2021, the Women Department celebrated their 50th Annual Women’s Day and in September 2021, will mark the Church’s 55th Anniversary, a pillar in Yonkers’ serving in Spirit & Truth.
Our Pastor is fluent in English and Spanish. He speaks some Korean. A father of two daughters, with forty years of marriage to one wife, and resides in Yonkers. He retired from MTA of NYC in 2020. Born Again baptized believer, filled with The Holy Spirit and anointed man of God who believes in paying tithes and giving The Lord his best. He doesn’t believe in receiving any tithes, but welcomes gifts.
A profound teacher of the Word of God, preaching Old & New Testaments under the anointing of the Holy Spirit. A true worshiper and humble man of God. He under-gird members with help, love, prayer and fasting. The COGIC departmental auxiliaries are: The Mothers’ Board; The Women Department; (Willing Workers, Sunshine Band, Purity Class, Young Women Council, Professional & Business Women) The Youth Department and The Education Department; (Prayer & Bible Study The Sunday School) The Men Perfecting Men Department; Musicians & Choir; where members can grow in grace and the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus the Christ and where they have opportunities to exercise their God’s given gifts and talents.
