Intercession And The Moral Life

Lesson Aim: To show that standing in the gap for others is an important feature of the moral life.

Mercy – Compassion or forgiveness shown toward someone.

Intercession – The act of intervening on behalf of another.

Covenant – An agreement or commitment.

Lesson Text: Deuteronomy 7:1-6

Sainthood And The Moral Life

Lesson Aim: To show that reaching a balance amongst the set of virtues implied in Deuteronomy is an important feature of the moral life.
